Cosmic Streak Event 2026: How to Get the Free Decoration

Attack once a day for seven days in a row between October 16 and 31 to earn the Cosmic Streak decoration. The rules, the claim deadline, and what to farm.

The Short Version

Quick answer: Cosmic Streak runs from October 16 to 31, 2026. Attack at least once a day for seven days in a row and you earn an exclusive decoration. Extra rewards unlock if the whole community hits its goals. Claim everything by November 1. One quick attack a day is all it takes.

It's the easiest reward of the month. The only way to miss it is to forget a day.

All dates here are as of October 2026.

The Rules in One Table

I read Supercell's season post, Cosmic Curse: Portal Panic Teleports In, for the official details.

That's the whole event. There's no score to chase and no army to build.

One attack a day is enough. More attacks don't speed it up.

How Many Days You Can Miss

The window gives you 16 days. You need 7 of them in a row.

So you have slack. If you start on October 16, a clean run ends on October 22.

Miss a day and the streak restarts. Even then, the last day to begin a fresh 7 day run is October 25. That run ends on the 31st.

October 25October 31

Don't push it to the 25th, though. One missed day after that and the decoration is gone.

What Counts as a Daily Attack

Supercell's wording is to attack a base at least once a day.

A regular home village battle is the safe choice. You need one anyway for Sour Elixir in Portal Panic.

The post doesn't spell out whether Builder Base, Clan Capital raids or friendly challenges count. I checked it twice for that and found nothing.

So don't gamble on them. Do one regular home village attack a day and you're covered.

It doesn't need to be a good attack. A quick one star raid still counts as attacking a base.

When a Day Starts

This is where streaks usually break.

Games like this count days on a fixed server clock, not your local midnight. Supercell's other events in this season use 08:00 UTC as their start and end time.

The post doesn't confirm the reset time for Cosmic Streak itself. The countdown in game will show it once the event appears on October 15.

Until you see it, attack at roughly the same time every day. That keeps each attack well inside a separate day.

Attacking right before and right after midnight is the classic way to lose a streak.

The Community Bonus

On top of your personal streak, there's a shared goal.

If the community meets its targets, everyone who takes part gets bonus rewards. Supercell hasn't listed what the bonus is or how big the targets are.

Your daily attack helps both. It counts toward your streak and toward the community total.

That's all you control here. You can't do more than play daily.

Check the event screen during the week. The progress bar for the community goal will show how close everyone is.

What to Farm While You Streak

Your daily attack can do two jobs at once.

Portal Panic runs until October 25. Every regular battle collects Sour Elixir from three buildings, and Sour Elixir pays out Rift Medals.

So pick bases with the Sour Elixir buildings close together. One attack then fills your streak and your event track.

If you haven't spent those medals yet, our Portal Panic guide covers what to buy.

The shop closes on October 27, two days after the event.

A Quick Army for Daily Attacks

A streak is easier when each attack takes two minutes.

The Portal Panic track unlocks five temporary troops for regular battles. Their level follows your Town Hall, and they're strong for that reason.

Two of them suit a fast daily raid. The Royal Ghost walks through walls and stays invisible for 10 seconds, so it can snipe the Sour Elixir buildings. The Totem Thrower stuns defenses with its first shot and every fourth one after that.

You can't donate event troops to a Clan Castle, so train them yourself.

Our Totem Thrower guide shows how to use it.

Battle Options Returns October 17

The second Battle Options event, called The Second Curse, runs from October 17 to 21 for Town Hall 6 and up.

Partway through an attack, you choose between temporary troops and Sour Elixir.

That sits right inside your streak. Every attack in those five days can give you a stronger army or more event currency.

If you already have most of the Portal Panic track done, take the troops. If you're behind on Sour Elixir, take the elixir.

Our Battle Options guide explains how the choice works.

Two Resource Boost Windows

Supercell's calendar lists two resource collector boosts this month for Town Hall 8 and up.

WindowBoost
October 12 to 144x collector output for 2 days
October 26 to 284x collector output for 2 days

The second one overlaps the end of your streak.

It pays to empty your collectors more often during those days. They fill four times faster, so they cap out sooner.

That loot helps if you plan to upgrade a lot during the Portal Pendant boost or after the event.

Clan Games Start October 22

Clan Games run from October 22 to 28.

That's another reason to keep attacking daily. Many challenges need home village attacks anyway, like destroying certain buildings or winning with a set troop.

Your streak attack can tick a Clan Games challenge too.

Pick challenges that match your daily raid. Then one attack can count for three things: the streak, the Portal Panic track and Clan Games points.

Our Clan Games army guide lists armies that clear the common challenges fast.

The second half of October is busy. A daily habit keeps you on top of all of it.

A Simple Streak Plan

Here's a plan that won't break.

  1. 1Start on October 16. Don't wait for a better day.
  2. 2Attack at the same time daily. That keeps each attack in its own day.
  3. 3Use a regular home village battle. It's the one Supercell's rule clearly covers.
  4. 4Grab Sour Elixir with it. Portal Panic runs until October 25.
  5. 5Claim before November 1. Rewards left unclaimed won't wait.

If you want a fresh layout to defend while you're attacking daily, you can browse base layouts by Town Hall.

Seven quick attacks for a decoration nobody can buy later is a fair trade.
