When Is Hammer Jam 2026? Clues From Past Start Dates

Everything below is built on three years of real dates. Where a date comes from news coverage instead of Supercell, I say so. Where it's my own estimate, I say that too.

I compared the last three Hammer Jams with the Town Hall that came after each one. The launch dates come from Supercell's own update posts. I checked the date printed on each post.

The 2025 event dates are Supercell's, from its November season post. For 2023 and 2024, I couldn't find a Supercell post that lists the event dates. Those two rows use news coverage from the time. Treat them as close, not exact.

Two things stand out. The end date sits right on top of the launch date every year. And the start moved earlier each year, from late November to the first of the month.

Hammer Jam has behaved like a countdown to a new Town Hall. It hasn't kept a fixed calendar slot.

In 2025, the event ended on 17 November. The Town Hall 18 update post carries the same date. In 2024, the event ended on 25 November, the date on the Town Hall 17 update post. In 2023, it ended on 11 December. Town Hall 16's full patch notes are dated the next day.

That's three years in a row. It's still a pattern, not a promise. Supercell has never said the two are tied, and it could change the order in any year.

So the better question is when Town Hall 19 arrives. Count back about two and a half weeks from that day, and you've got a fair guess for the start.

Counting the first and the last day, the three events ran like this:

1. 12023: about 15 days, 27 November to 11 December
2. 22024: about 18 days, 8 to 25 November
3. 32025: 17 days, 1 to 17 November

So plan for roughly two and a half weeks. That's enough for several rounds of short upgrades. It isn't enough to finish a whole Town Hall from scratch.

You won't have to guess the end once it starts. Supercell's 2025 post said "Hammer Jam ends November 17" on day one.

Some players say the length matches the top Town Hall level of that year. The 2025 event fits, at 17 days with Town Hall 17 on top. The 2024 dates from news coverage don't fit as cleanly. I wouldn't plan around that idea.

Supercell hasn't given a Town Hall 19 date as of 25 October 2026. Here's the record so far.

The last three launches came on 12 December 2023, 25 November 2024 and 17 November 2025. Each one arrived a little earlier than the one before.

The gaps were 349 days and then 357 days. Both are close to a full year. Another gap of about a year from 17 November 2025 puts Town Hall 19 somewhere in November 2026.

That's a calendar guess, nothing more. Supercell can move a launch for testing, for a bug, or for a reason it never shares.

Here's what the pattern gives for three possible Town Hall 19 dates. I counted back 15 to 18 days from each launch, the range of the last three events.

These rows are my estimates, not Supercell's dates. The middle row matches 2024. The top row matches 2025.

If you're planning your builders, the top row is the safe one to prepare for. It's the earliest case. Being ready a week early costs you nothing. Being caught with every builder busy on day one costs you a week of discount.

I read Supercell's November 2025 season post line by line. The event itself covered four things:

1. 150% off upgrade time and cost, open to every Town Hall level
2. 2No discount on Supercharges or Crafted Defenses
3. 3A 2x boost to Resource Collector capacity and production
4. 4Meteor Obstacles from 1 to 17 November, which could drop Ores

The month stacked other events on top. Clan War Leagues ran from 1 to 11 November. The Goblin Builder and Goblin Researcher stayed from 1 to 30 November. A 4x Star Bonus ran from 10 to 14 November.

That overlap matters. In the first ten days, CWL attacks and Hammer Jam upgrades compete for the same loot and the same evenings.

Nobody outside Supercell knows yet. The core has been steady, though.

Coverage of the 2023 and 2024 events described the same 50% cut. Supercell's 2025 post confirmed it in its own words. Three years of the same deal is a decent sign it'll return.

The exclusions are the part most likely to change. Supercharges and Crafted Defenses were left out in 2025. A new upgrade type added in 2026 could be left out too. Read the exclusion line in the announcement before you spend.

There's one more detail worth knowing. The 2025 post opened with "starting NOW, Hammer Jam is ON!" The event began the same day Supercell announced it.

So don't wait for a week of warning. It may not come.

Supercell doesn't post the dates early, but a few signs showed up before past events:

1. 1A season post on the first of the month. The 2025 event appeared in the November season post, published on 1 November.
2. 2A story teaser. On 4 November 2024, Supercell posted "Missing: Have You Seen the Hammer?", a storyline with a true crime podcast tie in. News coverage put that year's start four days later.
3. 3Town Hall talk. Hammer Jam has always run just before a new Town Hall. Once Town Hall 19 sneak peeks begin, the event isn't far off.

The first of November 2026 falls on a Sunday. That's the day to check Supercell's blog and the in game news tab.

If nothing shows up then, look again each morning. In 2024, the event started a week into the month.

Before, if the pattern holds. In every year since 2023, the event finished on launch day or the day before it.

That has a practical side. The discount mostly helps you finish the Town Hall you're on now. Town Hall 19's new levels probably won't get the 50% cut, because the event should be over when they appear.

So if you're short of max at your current Town Hall, Hammer Jam is the time to close the gap. Long upgrades get the biggest saving in hours.

If your Town Hall 18 is already maxed, the event has little to offer you. Your real spending starts after Town Hall 19 lands, at full price.

You don't need the exact date to prepare. You need free builders and full storages on day one.

1. 1Don't start long upgrades in the last days of October. Anything you start before the event pays the full price and keeps a builder busy.
2. 2Keep storages close to full. You'll want to start several upgrades the moment it begins.
3. 3Hold your Builder Potions. Each one speeds every builder ten times for an hour. On halved timers, that hour finishes a bigger share of each upgrade.
4. 4Do short upgrades now. Anything that ends within a day or two won't block a builder later.

I pulled the last 28 days of our own Search Console data. Our pages showed up in Google about 6,300 times for "when is hammer jam 2026" alone. For "hammer jam coc 2026", it was about 8,300 times.

That's a lot of players asking one question before Supercell has said a word. It makes sense. Hammer Jam is the cheapest upgrade window of the year, and nobody wants to waste it.

The honest answer stays the same until Supercell posts. Watch the Town Hall 19 date, and the Hammer Jam date follows.

While you wait, it's a good time to pick the base you'll defend with after the upgrades. You can browse base layouts by Town Hall level and copy one straight into the game.

Say mid November comes and there's still no Hammer Jam. That doesn't mean it's cancelled.

In 2023, the event didn't start until 27 November. Town Hall 16 then arrived on 12 December. A late Hammer Jam most likely means a late Town Hall, nothing worse.

Keep your builders free a little longer if that happens. Don't burn your saved resources on long upgrades out of impatience. A week of waiting costs less than a full price upgrade you could have had at half price.

If Supercell ever runs a November without Hammer Jam, the season post on the first of the month will show it. Until then, the safest plan is the same: stay ready from early November.
