Clan Games kick off on July 22 and run through July 28, landing right as the Summer Jam's Dark Elixir phase winds down. That timing is a gift, because the rewards you pull from Clan Games are exactly what you want to pour into the Heroes you've been upgrading all week.

Here's the quick answer for busy players: aim for 4,000 personal points, no more, spread your effort across challenges you can clear cheaply, and spend your reward tiers on Books and Hammers before anything else. Do that and you'll walk away with a pile of Magic Items for basically free. The rest of this guide is just how to do each of those things well.

The format is simple once you've done it once. During the event, a list of challenges appears — three-star a Town Hall 14, destroy a certain number of defenses, win with a particular troop, that sort of thing. Completing challenges earns points, and every clanmate's points feed into one shared clan total.

That shared total unlocks reward tiers, up to six of them. The more your clan collectively scores, the more tiers open, and each tier hands every participating member a reward they get to choose. So Clan Games are cooperative — your job is to chip in points, and the clan's job as a whole is to unlock as many tiers as possible for everyone. A Book of Heroes, cashed into a ten-day upgrade, is ten days of your life handed back. Judge every reward by that yardstick and the pecking order sorts itself out — time-savers over resources, always, unless you genuinely have nothing left to build.

Because rewards scale with the clan's total score, a little coordination goes a long way. Drop a message telling everyone the event is live and nudge the quiet members to at least clear a few challenges. A clan where half the roster ignores Clan Games leaves entire reward tiers locked for the people who did show up.

If you're in a dead clan that never fills the bar, honestly, that's a sign to find a more active one. A good farming or war clan will smash the max tier every single event, which means you pocket the full reward set every time for the same 4,000 points of effort. The clan you're in quietly decides how much Clan Games are worth to you.

It also helps to agree, as a clan, on when to actually start grinding. If everyone dumps their points on day one you can max the tiers early and coast; if everyone waits until the final night, you risk leaving the top tier locked because a few people ran out of time. A quick pinned message near the start of the event — "let's all clear our challenges by Friday" — is usually all it takes to make sure nobody's effort gets wasted. Treat it like a shared checklist, not a solo grind, and the whole thing gets easier for everyone.

The real magic this month is the overlap. You've spent the Dark Elixir phase upgrading Heroes and the Unlimited Hero Event keeping them on the field — now Clan Games hands you the Books and Hammers to finish even more upgrades on top of that.

So treat all three as one connected push. Farm and upgrade during the Dark Elixir Quest, keep attacking through the Unlimited Hero Event, then cash your Clan Games Books straight into your next Hero or defense. Line them up and this single week can move your account further than a normal month of casual play.

One last thing that catches people out during a busy event week. While you're grinding challenges and farming, your own base is a target, and it's easy to log in to find your storages raided while you were busy attacking.
